Please note as from June 2015 the City of Tshwane will be replacing portions of the existing water pipes. This project is necessary due to the deterioration of the current water network system. The network will be replaced in between Alandale, Frelon and Boeing Street.
The Community Liaison Officer (CLO), Les Weyer (072 027 1179), will contact you beforehand to advise whether COT would be working on your side of the road. Should your pavement and drive-way be affected, COT will restore the drive-way after the work is completed. Unfortunately grass and plants will not be replanted. I suggest before work commences at your property, you remove your sprinkler system and plants and reinstall and replant them afterwards. My apology in advance for any inconvenience this essential work may cause.
There might also be water interruptions in the area during the project. You will be informed beforehand. The Community Liaison Officer will keep you informed as to the progress of the project. We anticipate the project will take approximately 4 months to complete.
