The Rademeyers Old Farmhouse Restaurant and Opstal Venue was originally a milk farm nestled in the heart of Moreleta Park, Pretoria. Rademeyers is surrounded by the Moreleta Kloof Nature Reserve offering three walking trails. For nature lovers a great pleasure! Game like Zebra, Springbuck, Impala, Bless buck, Duiker, Ostrich, Guinea Fowl and indigenous bird species roam freely within this protected green area.
Venue
The Opstal is a farm-style venue full of character dated from the late 1880’s and can accommodate up to 120 guests and is available for weddings, functions, birthday parties, stork teas, christenings and conferences. The Opstal has its own private bar in a lovely outside voerkraal setting. The enchanted chapel venue with its extraordinary character and stained glass windows is where the love story begins.
Conferences
We have numerous conference and team building venues and facilities to accommodate your next conference or team building event. For large events make use of our Zebra Lounge area, while sitting on the patio, enjoying the Bushveld view. For smaller events make use of our Loft venue. All conferences and team building events are strictly by appointment only.
Restaurant
The Herritage declared Old Farmhouse Restaurant is open for A La Carte from Wednesdays – Fridays from 10h00 to 17h00 and Saturdays and Sundays from 08h00 to 17h00. The heritage declared Old Farmhouse is open for Sunday Buffet only from 10:00 to 17:00 and features live music entertainment. Booking Essential. The restaurant can accommodate small private functions in the three separate rooms from 14 guests up to 40 guests. Bookings only.
We also host Conferences, Baby Showers, Kitchen Teas, Birthday Parties etc. The Gazebos and setting outside in the garden makes it easy to view game roaming freely. A pure out of Africa experience!
